Where did it all begin?...

Macaris first opened in Worthing in 1959, independent of any other business of the same name. Now 52 years on and still family run, we have moved on from just selling ice cream and drinks to a Fully Licensed Restaurant and Café/bar. 

Over the years we have always put emphasis on quality, winning major national ice-cream awards for several flavours.

 

In 1987 our coffee ice-cream not only won its class but also gained the most points in the whole national competion and achieved the prestigious ‘Champion of Champions!’

Our Lunch and early evening Chef’s Specials boasts good home made food, freshly prepared by our chef’s. Homemade cakes from scones and muffins to gateaux and cheesecakes are proving very popular.
